Deadline: June 1, 2010

1st Place: $50.00 and 25 copies

 Official Rules:

1.   Submit 16-24 pages of poetry/prose.

2.   Submit manuscripts between January 1st - June 1

3.   No name should appear on poems.

4.   Send two cover pages.

5.   One cover page clipped to poems, with title only, no identifying information.

6.   One separate cover page to contain title, name, address, phone and e-mail.

7.   Include contents page and acknowledgments of previously published poems.

8.   Please do not submit a manuscript that has been previously published.

9.   Include $20.00 reading fee, check/money order only.

10. Include SASE for results.

11. Authors retain all rights to their work.

12. Authors must own all rights to their work.

13. No manuscripts will be returned. We shred and recycle all unused work. 

14. Notification by August.

Due to the volume of submissions we receive,
we cannot inform entrants of incorrectly
submitted or disqualified material, nor can we accept
any corrections or revisions to submissions.

 

- Please Consider -

We prefer chapbooks that have a theme, either obvious or understated. 
We like a collection that feels more like a whole than a sampling of work.
We have no preference as to formal or free verse.
