Hello friends of Poetica! We have a common bond in poetry. I'm happy to become a part of this community. I am a photojournalist for a newspaper, write for national magazines and have three poetry books out. My first book was Hot and Bothered By It, based on midlife humor. If you've ever hot flashed, then you can totally relate to this book. The second book is Being Frank with Anne, a poetic interpretation of the diary. This was read by Buddy Elias, Anne's first cousin and Miep Gies even requested copies of it before she passed away. I am very grateful to have had contact with her. I still find it hard to believe.

My third book is spiritually based and is titled Twelve is for More Than Doughnuts. Currently I am working on poems for an ekfrastic event and poetry to go with poems by a local artist. I co-wrote a young adult suspense, Inkblot, with  Nancy Naigle that we are currently marketing. I'll keep you posted as makes it's journey.
